Recipe for Baked Salmon with Wine Sauce ( Salmone al forno co

2 lbs (1 kg) fresh salmon slices, 1/2 inch thick
salt and pepper
1 cup ( 250ml) (8 fl. oz) sherry
1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
1/4 cup (60ml) (2 fl. oz) olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon

Place Salmon Slices in baking dish, and sprinkle with salt and
pepper. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over fish. Bake
until tender in hot oven 400 deg,(200 c, gas 6) about 1/2 hour.
Do not over cook. Serve immediately.
