Recipe for Crusty-Baked Halibut

1/2 cup butter, divided
2 lb. halibut fillet
salt and pepper
10-12 saltine crackers

Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in baking dish. Sprinkle fillets with
salt and pepper on both sides; arrange fillets in single layer in
baking dish. Melt remaining butter in small saucepan; break crackers
into butter. Stir thoroughly to make a paste. Spread paste over
fillets. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until fish flakes
easily. Yield: 6 servings.
