Serves 4
4 fresh salmon steaks
1/3 cup lemon juice
3-4 tablespoons grated onion
3 tablespoons of low fat margarine
1 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning (mix of peppers) or 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1/4-1/2 teaspoon All Purpose Seasoning
1-2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon mustard with horseradish
Salt to taste
Bring all ingredients (except fish) to a boil and simmer for 10 min.
Pour over fish in baking pan and refrigerate for several hours.
Bake in covered baking pan for 20-25 min at 375° F. Transfer fish to shallow pan with half of marinade.
Broil approximately 5 minutes per side basting with remaining marinade.
