2 pounds halibut
1 cup flour
1 12oz beer (light colored beers work best)
1 tbsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp salt
Heat cooking oil in deep fat frier to 375°. Cut halibut into 1 inch chunks. Make batter by mixing the flour, beer, paprika and salt. Dip halibut into batter. Drop halibut into oil and cook until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain oil on paper towel. Do not over cook.
