This is an extremly informative book, for both beginner (such as myself) and advanced fisherman. It tells you where to go and what time of year is best for that spot, also what flies are best suited for what is in that particular river.
Fishing in Oregon's Best Fly Waters This book is unique in that the true is not condescending, omits the egotistical ranting found in other "how to" books and does a great job of explaining things without mystifying the process.
Fishing in Oregon's Deschutes River Being a Vermont resident, it's nice to have a guide that is so complete and detailed for rivers and lakes in the state. The author gives personal accounts of his experiences in different bodies of water; where the best trout or bass fishing is, what time of year to catch specific types of fish, what lures or flies to use. I found this very helpful as a resource to fishing my favorite Vermont river, the White River.

Fly Fishing British Columbia This "guide" reads more like an overview of the angling possibilities in BC. Not enough specific information about a lot of bodies of water. There are also some poorly written (and edited!) essays that I would have rather seen replaced with more details and or more rivers. To sum up, it's not very comprehensive and if you're looking for specific info on a particular river, you may be disappointed.

Wisconsin's Top Muskie Lakes I believe that this book covered almost all of the main muskie lakes in wisconsin. Of those lakes it gave great advice on how to fish the lake for a beginner. I am not a beggining muskie hunter but i use the book as my first reference when i'm going to a new lake that i have not fished yet. This book tells me what kind of structure that the lakes muskie key in on at certain times of the year.
