June 27, 2010, We had a report from a pilot who had flown over the lake and said it was thawed. It was not. Frozen. Starting to break up, but couldn't wet a line. The trail has tons of deadfall, and the map is inaccurate. Stay on the trail you'll be fine. The stream crossing is about 3 feet deep right now.

The fish had the most beautiful color I've ever seen! There were a lot to be caught around the area that the trail comes out along the logs and also back in the creek.
