Bryan lake is the most scenic lake of my 2009 backpacking year. My friends Josh, Ben, and I fished a total of 3 to 4 hours and caught 5 total. I was a hot August day though. The hike was extremely scenic and was a fast 8.5 to 9 miles. The campsites are few but exactly all you would want. With high mountains on one side and lush grassy meadows across the lake. Ben was even lucky enough to see a moose swim the length of the lake in the early morning hours. Great trip
