Spring is best activity. New weed in the lake making it difficult to to get around. Caught citation bass and crappie in the spring, latest trip nothing.

I fish here every summer because I live just down the road. I have only caught one bass out of here and it was about 2 pounds. I was surprised to say the least. Early in the summer is great for crappie, I usually catch between 10 and 20 crappie if I spend the afternoon out there. Only ever caught one cat fish, one pickorol (sp), and a few brim. Sun perch or whatever they are called are supposed to be common but I have only ever caught one of those as well. Perch are frequent biters in the morning. Lately they have been building houses for rich people on the lake so some areas are now cut off. It's a shame.

lake is super shallow with little structure to hold bass. Grass bottom and few docks to fish. Better for sailing and pleasure boating
