The lake is not big enough for everyone in this area to, will be fished out soon.

Public fishing is allowed, you just need to purchase an additional permit due to the lake being on a military installation. Permits can be purchased at the Outdoor Recreation Office. The lake is on the small side for all of the fishing that gets done there. The lake has Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Hybrid Striped Bass, Bream, Shad, Aligators and Beavers. My personal best Largemouth was 6.5 lbs. I have seen photos of Bass over 10 lbs from this lake. The big ones are here, good luck...
