Top notch fishing! Caught 15 trout, and they were keepers! The alligator gar might break your rod, so use a graphite, with at least 40 pound test. Crappie and northern pike fishing is great, no need to goto minnesota anymore!

Common 4 pound walleyes are abundant at night, with large bass hitting at dusk. Northern pike hitting on mepps every cast into cattails by shore. Caught two very large alligator gar, and smoked them that night. Fishing is best here at night after rangers go night night.
