went up on June 22 2010 ( I tried going o June 1st but the roads were closed due to snow. when i got there snow was still in patches some 3 feet deep and it was about 65 degrees. I was on the south shore about a fifteen min hike from the boat ramp. When i picked a spot i threw in my pole using a slide and sinker with a gold treble hook and orange and white power eggs. within ten min i caught 2 native trout then the temp dropped to 45 deg and they stopped biting. the next morning the fish started biting right away all day long. they all were 12 to 14 inches hit hard and fought pretty good. I saw mountain lion tracks in the snow so be careful. the nights dropped down to 36 deg also. I didn't lose one set up on a snag or anything. Best trip in a long time.

Trolled the lake for about one and a half hours late afternoon had a number of bites landed 2 trout on rainbow rappala

I have never had much luck here. No facilities, poor boat ramp. Watch for rocks to knock your prop off and mosquitoes to carry off small children.
