I HAVE FISHED HERE FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND IT'S SAD TO SAY THAT DUE TO THE FORESTRY DEPT. PUTTING IN THE ROAD WHICH IS ONLY A MILE AWAY FROM LOWER DINKEY LAKE, THIS ROAD HAS RUINED THE WHOLE AREA. POWER BAIT BOTTLES,BEER BOTTLES,AND OTHER TRASH ARE NOW APPARENT AT EVERY LAKE. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME THINGS LEFT ALONE AND DINKEY LAKES IS ONE OF THESE PLACES. LET THESE PEOPLE GO TO YOSEMITE OR CLEAR LAKE, BUT DON'T RUIN SUCH A PLACE AS THIS. CLOSE THE ROAD AND LET THE REAL PACKERS WHO APPRECIATE THESE KIND OF PLACES WORK FOR IT BY WALKING THERE, NOT DRIVING THERE. THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL OF PLACES LIKE THIS LEFT IN CALIFORNIA. PLEASE HELP TO REINSTATE DINKEY LAKES AS ONE OF THEM BEFORE IT'S TO LATE
