Lots of fluctuation in water level but fishing is almost always good. Only cutthroat trout may be taken with barbless hooks. Catching steelhead is very common and sometimes salmon but F&G are giving (very expensive) tickets regularly. Float shrimp or a nightcrawler off of the bottom using a slip-sinker rig. Fly fishing is very productive as well. Black and purple leeches, and scud patterns do well. Water is very saline and there are Quagga mussels here
