Like Morris, Cogswell, Big Tujunga, and Pacoima reservoirs, no fishing is allowed at Bouquet Reservoir. You can fish for planted trout in the creek below the dam - but it can get quite crowded on weekends. Forest Adventure Pass required to park.

Like said before, there is no fishing allowed there and there never has been. Since 9-11 security has been increased above having a reservoir keeper living on site. If cought fishing there, you could face fines, inprisonment or both. now as for what is in there (and this is based on the fact that a family member is going on his 36th year with DWP so i know what i am talking about) there are some small mouth, cats, carp, crapy, blue gill, and some trout. THERE ARE NO STEELHEAD. Steelheads are a trout that has been to the ocean. since there is no connection to the ocean at all, there is no steelhead. best if you study your fish better.

The postings are correct, there is NO fishing in Bouquet Reservoir PERIOD.Since 9-11 utilities such as Bouquet Reservoir come under Homeland Security. If caught you could be found guilty of a FELONY! Do you want to risk that for a few fish? There IS a resident reservoir keeper there now and he is serious about enforcing the law. There are helicopter patrols several times per day and night. The aircraft is equipped with FLIR, you can't hide from it.Do yourself a favor and STAY OUT!

Hey Rev F Bomb, I don't know who your family member is but there are no catfish or bluegill in Bouquet.Aside from that, there have been chain-link fences cut, barbed wire cut , signs removed and thrown in the water. Anyone that these things and climbs under or over fences, is a criminal and will be treated accordingly.
