As of March 27th, the lake is closed to all watercraft due to the quagga mussel quarantine. Please advise all interested in boating or kayaking to save their time and resources. Also, if you would like to join the legions of people fishing from shore, then this is your place. Not one of the hundred or so people fishing had even one fish on their stringers.

Fishing here is certainlly a gamble. Its a waste of time, money and makes you want to give up on fishing entirely. The food is crap at the so called resort. In California, there is a no smoking law in all restruants, well there is a smoking section inside. THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR A RESORT FAMILY VACATION! IF YOU WERE THINKING OF CHECKING THIS PLACE OUT....DONT!! THE STATE LIES AND SAYS THEY STOCK THESE PLACES...COME ON...WERE BROKE. THE PLACE IS VERY POORLY MAINTAINED, ITS LIKE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY, AND FORGET THE REST OF US "REAL" FISHERMEN WHO WANT TO FISH! RIGHT? THE PLACE HAS DIRTY MEXICANS PLAYING IN THE WATER, THROWING ROCKS...PLENTY OF DRINKING AND JUST DOING WHAT PEOPLE DO BEST IN LA COUNTY...LEAVE A BUNCH OF TRASH! JUST TAKE MY ADVICE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHT HOLE......

i think the dam is empty. not one bite from anything. I can usually hit atleast a ccat or something. i think the fish have dried up
