The church has something like 10 major Los Angeles centers of which this is one, including a newly built monestary above the lake. The gardens and lake grounds are kept in an immaculate state with every leaf groomed, it seems. Enormous Koi cruise by in lazy spendor. Snapping turtles have invaded the lake and if you catch one you will probably be treated as a hero since they harass everything else that lives or swims in the lake. Beautiful place for a wedding, meditation, or photography. Bookstore on premises includes SRF works concerning their basic philosophy.
