The lake is one of the most scenic in Marin County and is an excellent fishery. I've caught numerous good sized bass, seen bluegill, and can confirm that mature, large Warmouth (Red Eye Sunfish) are there too, I caught one, almost two this evening, and it was huge... 10 inches. The one that got away was even bigger. Not legal, but fishing off the dam is highly productive. Gigantic Largemouth are seen cruising regularly. Bring the camera, and the kids.

What ha[[ened to all the trout? When I was a kid some forty years ago, we would fish both the lake and the stream and catch some 6" to 14" trout. I got the 14 incher in the stream below waiting for my mom to pick me up. Those were the days

Some medium and very small bluegill. Please release them! And release all bass! And to the person who says there are warmouth sunfish, you are wrong. those are just redear sunfish. You might of seen their red eyes because of the light angle. There are no warmouth in Marin.
