Foot long and bigger Rainbow Trout caught using various Kastmasters with slow retrieve and variable action. German browns are most likely around but we didn't catch any. Hiked in from Pine Creek Trailhead with 50 pound packs and it is a harder hike then from Pepperdine side. HARD hike for beginners with that much weight. A bunch of nice campgrounds by the lake but you will need to saw dead wood for your fire as the area has been picked clean of easy wood.
