Two of us fished Martis Lake on May 22, 2010, for about 4 hours in the afternoon. Restrictions: catch and release, artificials, barbless hooks only. No motorized boats. We used float tubes. Cool conditions. Intermittent sun, clouds and a bit of snow. One of us used a spinning rod with a Panther Martin lure, the other a fly road with a sinking line, dragging a wooly bugger with a Prince nymph trailing. Spinning rod caught 6 (browns and rainbows). Largest was 10". Fly rod caught 4 (browns), but larger in size, including one 15" and one 17".
