Great fishing, used to be a bass hatchery years ago. There was an accidental sewage spill a few years back, but the lake has rebounded nicely. As noted below, the people from the church are very protective of "their" body of water, even though they don't use it or keep up the grounds there. Ive probably cleaned that lake up more by myself than they have over the years. There quick to yell at you about fishing there, but don't do much to keep it up. As long as you go on a day other than Sunday, you'll be fine, just park in the church parking lot and fish off the dam.

Nothing there. I've tried several times to catch anything without even a bite. I talked to a local and the guy told me that they had recently cleared all the fish out to donate to Lake Irvine.

Veeh Reservoir is the private property of Lake Hills Community Church. Fishing is not allowed.

Plenty of bass here. Vector control just introduced some mosquito fish. Was barren of them until now. Has anyone caught catfish here? I have tried without luck. What other species are present?

It is known as the sh#thole. Big bass there. The fisha malisha used to tear it up there. We drank hard and fished hard! Never any problems there.

I've fished here many many times. Its was a great spot. Its actually known as "The SH$T Hole" to most people who go there. I've caught Blue Gill, Large Mouth Bass, Redear, Lots of Black(bullhead i think)catfish from 1-3lbs and two baby turtles. It been a few years since I've been there, and I've been wanting to go back. I never had any issues with the church people because i fish on the opposite side parking in 7-11 and walking thru the foilage behind the industrial buildings. I have been harrassed by this one old security for the industrial buildings but basically ignored him and kept fishing. Other than that the sherrif helicopter watches the lake with infra red at night and I've had deputies come down there a couple times to check us out. No hassle though. They were more interested in the underage kids down there drinking than me. Except for one officer who i let cast out a couple times.
