Lake Dalwigk is more of a seasonal wetland and bird habitat - it is mostly full of reeds and cattails. It is not really deep enough to sustain eating-sized fish. It is maintained by the Vallejo Flood and Sanitation control as a winter runoff containment area. I've seen some local families fishing for crayfish near the main culvert, and that area also fills up with trash and street runoff. I personally wouldn't want to eat anything from there. You are better off fishing at Glenn Cove or the Vallejo waterfront area.
