There are no fish in the lake, but this area also provides access to miles of the Feather River and good striper fishing. Unfortunately, Levee District One is illegally blocking the road to the river, at the levee, so you have to walk, which will be a problem to people with small children or a minor disability. look at the www.ca.dgs web site, for a good map showing the area. It is open, just not well signed

Access is starting on Garden Highwya 1 mile north of Tudor then east on Starr Bend Road to levee, then park and walk in.
