Their were three people fishing the lake this trip, me and 2 others. I was using 2 rods most of the time, one with worms, and one with powerbait. It was very windy that day, so I was having some difficulty casting very far. The part of the lake that I chose to fish was also very shallow, so it may be wise to try a deep spot or get your bait or lure out very far with a long rod or lots of casting weights. If you fish lures or bait on the bottom, you will probably lose lots of tackle to the rocks like we did. I eventually caught a beautiful 12 inch rainbow on bright orange powerbait, but that was the only fish of the trip.
