Excellent lake for Cutthroat to 18". Great dry fly action on Green Drake, Yellow Humpy, or Orange Stimmie. Fish with sinking line and wooly buggers when the fish are deeper during the middle of the summer.

The fishing was good here, and especially fun if you like to fish with flies. Try elk hair caddis and adams. I use a spinning reel and bubble catching several 13-16" cutthroats in an hour with many more hits where I failed to set the hook. It was pretty windy most of the time, but just before dusk the wind dies a bit and they really started surfacing. Lots of fun.
