Ms Holmes really meant "bug spray". Other than that. . . an "occasional" cowpie should be avoided. The lake is very pretty and a great place to catch a few sun rays, along with your fishing.

The lake banks are very clean as many senior citizens that live in the area help remove any debris that collect on the banks. Seniors take pride in maintaining the pristine beauty of the area. Since we are sharing the area with a herd of black Angus, and occasional "dropping" from the cattle should be avoid. When the wind in blowing at a good clip, horse flies and mosquitoes are not an issue. You should carry bug fly on a calm day, and don't forget your sunscreen. Good number of large mouth bass and trout. Also there is a healthy population of catfish. It's a fun little lake to go to but people have left allot of trash around the bank and there is a huge amount of cattle manure everywhere.
