Great all around fishing. By myself I prefer a belly boat just after ice-out . Many big lake trout during this time taken on Zonkers and other streamers. Good action by the inlet for bookies and rainbows. Very windy at times. Have tried a canoe as well but the wind will really push you around. Very good shore fishing throughout the summer. They stock it a few times each year. Good dry fly action around the lake from shore as well. Bait fishing is popular. Met a scuba diver there one year and he said he saw lake trout in here that were HUGE!

As off May 23, 2008...there is 3 and a half foot of snow at the lake. The Plow was only able to plow up to the sharp left turn. The camp grounds in some spots still have 3 feet snow drifts. Looks like it'll be a few more weeks before lake access will be avail.

the fishing at the lake wasnt very good but if you look on the map you will see a little beaver pond i caught 14 fish there and a wonderful dinner as well
