Fish from shore or boat. From the bank, I had a 3-4 weight and often feeding was occurring just beyond my casting length. A rod and reel is a vialbe option. Plenty of 8 to 12 inch brooks and rainbows. My best success was by the dam. One day, I caught six and the next, zero.
