it is actually called Beaver Pond.. not beaverdam pond. it is on the property of the Avon Old Farms school and is closed to public fishing.. any non school resident will be taunted and killed upon entering pond. the pond is stocked yearly with rainbow trout. oterh species are brown trout, Largemouth Bass, Grass carp, few chain pickeral, sunfish, and suckers. dont forget the hairy wet beavers

My fondest memories of youth are fishing and hanging out at this pond.I spent an incredible amount of time here. And yes the correct name is Beaver Pond. I remember during the 50's and early 60's tHAT "Durph" would scare away all poachers!
