I absolutely love fishing at this place!!!! There are some huge largemouth bass here. I fish there almost every weekend and only a few times have i got skunked. I went last weekend and caught 2 largemouths over 2lbs and a couple yellow perch. The 2 things i dont like about this place is that the boat launch is in terrible shape its to shallow to launch a 14ft flatbotton boat, the 2nd thing i dont like is that once summer hits the weeds make it almost impossible to fish anything that isnt weedless. Other than that its a great place to fish it has huge bass and if you live anywhere near it give it a shot. Its better to fish from a boat though.

I have been fishing here since i was 4yrs old and I know that place like the back of my hand and i have never caught or even seen a trout, smallmouth, or a pike im not saying that there isnt any there but with the amazing bass population and with the massive snapping turtles there i dont see those fish living long enough to become big enough to catch. I have caught catfish there also along with yellow perch and sunfish but thats all i think lives there.

Nice boat launch, shallow reservoir, with largemouth bass, northern pike, perch, crappie and sunfish.. probably some others we haven't caught yet as well. Invasive plants take over like you wouldn't believe once mid-May hits, so fish this spot until it becomes a mess. Would get a better rating if the state of CT would do something about the invasive plant species.

I have never caught any fish here. I have even ventured off the shore in a small boat. The invasive plants are awful and really limit the areas that you can actually fish.
