This is a lake that only real men should fish. It is a no fishing lake and very easy to get caught. The best way to fish it is with a kayak and ONLY in the wee hours of the morning (3am-no later than 4:30 am ) on a new moon. the fishing is pretty good, but there are a lot of gators taht are going to come up to your kayak and also hit your lure if you use top water lures. You will need to have some one drop you off as not to have to leave your truck parked in the lot. Campus cops are a real hassel if you get caught. My biggest sop far is a little over 11 pounds at this lake ( deduct a pound and a half if you measure with a scale) good luck.
