This lake is accessible from two public boat ramps. H. L. Bishop Park is on Lake June Road on the east side of the lake. Local phone: 863-402-6813. E-mail contact: vpontius at bcc.co.highlands.fl.us Lake June Park (not the state park on the southwest side of the lake) is located off the the northeast shore of the lake off Harris Avenue. Caught a few bass in about 2 hours in the early morning. The bite abruptly stopped once the water warmed up. Supposedly good for shiner fishing in the middle of the lake when it warms up on the banks.
