I grew up in the Gloner trailer park which is located on scallop drive. we would ride our ponies as deep in the woods as possible and one day found Black lake. It was so cool and hidden and well for us kids it was a place that no grown ups, except ole Ernie Long had ever been. So we would load up and head to our private fishing spot. I remember catching dogfish, blowfish, catfish and it was the best fishing days ever, despite the catch. we were young and free. Out exploring. Fishing is the best thing to teach a child. They'll be hooked for life. Loving nature, eating good, and being with friends or family having a good day. Enjoy what God gave us. I think I may take a hike and go see what ole Black lake looks like now
