Parts of Trout lake may be open since it is FED by Plew Lake and empties into Boggy Bayou by going underneath HWY20 ( not fed into it like this other comment says) but it does border the Eglin Golf Course

Trout lake is really a pond water comes in on the North side from a series of other ponds that are all fed by Mill creek and it empties into Plew Lake, but like Plew Lake it also is located on the Eglin Golf course and is closed to fishing for All personell ( military and civilian alike)
