this is a really good lake for bass and crappie fishing. i fish here almost 3 to 5 days a week. its only $1 to fish all day. leave and come back is fine. fish with any bait you want to fish with. i prefer catch and release, so that the bass repreduce every year over and over. but over all i atleast catch two bass and a few crappie everytime im over at elder lake. if you read this come check it out. there is a little trailer at the end of the lake with a jar on the porch so just drop a dollar in there and you are read to fish. you can fish all the way around the whole lake, and john boats are accepted..

I have fished elder lake several times, it is a great lake and very pretty! I have never caught a fish at this lake, however I have had nibbles. Drop a dollar in the pickle jar at the trailer on the far end of the lake and your good to go!
