Hiked in from Iron Lake. Lots of 10 to 15 inch rainbows. A couple of big 4 to 10 lb cutthroats prowl but hard to catch. a limp line with moth or gufas bug sometimes work if they don't see you.

Caught 15" rainbow on the tiniest black fly I've ever fished with. Had a huge cutthroat on a gufas bug I let lay limp while it cruised by in the shallows a couple of times. When it hit I set the hook so hard I broke my line. What a Wish I could have moment. Go catch it. A tough day trip from Iron Lake or a great backpack weekend
