This lake can be hit or miss.Sometimes good and other times tough.Plenty of bass fish the lily pads and thick weeds scurrying a worm or mousy across the top while pausing in the pockets you better have some serious line and a 6 to 7 foot pole to pull the bass and 5lbs of moss to the bank.Bank fishing can be productive.Crappies and walleye on slip bobbers with fatheads in sept. oct. pitched from shore at sunset.Lots of fishing pressure and boat traffic on holiday weekends.Try getting at park early and waiting in line if boat fishing get in early and gettr done than get off the lake in summer months evenings are a good bet in early to mid fall.
