As you can see from one of the comments below, some people go to this lake with the intention of wiping out the bluegill population. I have spoken to several people on this body of water over the past few years who have told me about how they took a hundred or more gills out of this lake in a single weekend. It's a small lake and although bluegill are proliferous reproducers, the population has suffered recently. As a result, the population of larger predators have been reduced. It's a difficult lake to fish if you don't know it well. It's getting harder to fish as foolish people overharvest the lake.

Just spent a weeks vacation with our grandkids fishing the banks for bluegill. Cleaned over 200 male bluegills which does not include all the fat females we released.

I have a place at Hoosier Hideaway and have for 5 years. The people in the area are very friendly. The fishing is great, Nice gills, perch, crappie, bass and more.

I have fished this lake several times yielding no boated muskies-mostly full of baitfish, very murky water, and little to no vegetation. Too many hicks trilling aroung getting themselves tangled up in my rigs. Lake access is tough for a descent boat, and parking is VERY limited.

fish here alot in red ranger boat ot 14 tarker boat all decked out fishing been alsome muskys and bass been on fire if see mee ill show what ive been doing haven a blast out there catching alot of nice fish!!!!!!

as a kid I grew up on this lake my family was good friends with clarky and we went there 2 weeks avery summer it was great I,m 53 and my mom and dad started going there before I was born
