DNR ramp for public launch. Boat speed restricted to 10mph on entire lake. Fishing has been impacted by the closure of Manitou and Bass tournaments.

Nice Fishermans lake. I only have the opportunity to fish it in mid summer. I've been told that the fishing is better in early spring and late fall. I've had good luck during early mornings at the mouth of the Whitmore ditch on North Side of the bridge. Decent sized bluegill have been found there in good numbers during early morning hours. Also, I've found success by throwing top water skippers across the lilly pads around the banks near the bridge for bass.
