Stone lake is 30ft at it's deepest point with clear water. Public boat ramp on the West side, but limited parking. No public beach. Channel connects to Lake Brokashaw or what most locals refer to as Mud Lake which has no public access. Decent fishing for large mouth bass and blue gill. Other species present but scarce. 10 mile per hour speed limit for power boats. Nice quiet lake for swimming, fishing, and relaxing.

I have fished this lake since I was very young and still go back every year. Have bee very successful with bluegill and lg. mouth bass. Overall a very nice lake to fish speed restricted so it caters to a more peaceful setting!

I've lived on Stone Lake all my life. It's spring fed and you can see bottom. I swam across the lake when I was 14. We lived on the north side which is sandy and always a breeze. You can get to Mud Lake sometimes known as Broksure. I loved living there.
