The bluegills can normally be caught on earthworms. However, some days they are deeper than they would be on other days. All in all, not a bad place to fish.

i Live here and fish here all year long. The spring fishing is probably the best. The bluegill and crappie spawn about the same time along with the largemouth bass. Try fishing in 2 to 8 feet of water on sandy bottoms or near lily pads,with nightcrawlers,minnows or small soft plastics. i have had much luck with these tequnices for many years. good luck
