I Have fished Eagle Creek since i was about 8 years old and love it to this day. I have caught bass large mouth and small mouth ,crapie, bluegill, Stripers, carp, catfish and walleye. There are plenty of places to fish the bank and plenty of coves on a boat. I always recomend people to fish there. If you want good advice on whats hitting where check out the bait shop on Dandy Trail by the boat launch, Ricks Boatyard across from Eagle Creek Airport they always know where to go for what.

Spring rains have turned the water very muddy. Making it challenging to fish in the main lake. I have found the best fishing in the Bird Sanctuary, where the water is crystal clear. Large bass are in the shallows and are hitting plastic crawdads. Other fishermen are having luck using traditional (boring) bait, hook and bobber for panfish and catfish.

Water level is very low. Not worth fishing until water level reaches a reasonable height.

I fish in the "Bird Sanctuary" usually which is located inside Eagle Creek Park. Common fish in this lake are Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, and Catfish. There are many carp in the shallower areas in Eagle Creek Reservoir, north of 56th St. Best time to fish for bass are in the summer, using spinnerbaits, late in the afternoon.
