Olathe Area

Caught 1 Large Mouth Bass. Weight aprox 1.5lbs. Healthy. Off point left of furtherst north cove. Very shallow water. Green Pumpkin plastic worm. Caught 3 x over 2 lbs about year ago at this time on white chatter bait in northen damm corrner keep bait near bottom during retrieve. Going back out Wed.

No fish cleaning stations.

Great Lake, I love the fact they have other fishing ponds around perfect for a Day Trip with the family, lots of grass for the animals and a some areas have benches and tables perfect for a day lunch as well shelters for special events. It would also be great for fund raiser fishing events for kids. We enjoyed the day out with a group of children from all over Kansas, they had a blast and all of them caught fish using bobbers and worms. I went fishing with some spinner bait and i was very successful i went 2 days in a row and caught to great sized bass. The bass there love dark spinners the dont bite that much at the light ones.
