if you want a lake that produces wild brook trout there is no better place than fall brook lake they are speckled with black dots from the loon bile in the lake but it doesnt taint the fish in anyway my father and i go in the three weeks when the lake really produces which is in the 2nd week to mid june then after the water becomes to warm and they move to the cold water brooks we catch our limit of 5 trout every time the average fish you pull out is about 9 inches it is common that you pull out one or more 12 inchers every time it is very good fishing when it is overcast then the trout go wild it is a very productive lake and a great outing the acess to the lake is easy you take the little black gate jsut ask the locals where that is then you will come to a fork in the road you take a right then go up about 2 miles and you will come to a sign on the left that says falls brook pond and you take that little road and you will come to the lake it isnt deep maybe 6 feet is the deepest part it is a great lake to fish wild brook trout
