Access to this small pond is by a broad half mile trail. Carting a canoe would be difficult but not undoable. There are some small boats left on the shore that are not locked. Otherwise, you would need to wade 15-20' from shore and cast to deeper water. This pond is stocked with splake and the state splake record (10#) came from here.
