this place is absoluty the best place i have ever fished in my entire life. My family and i rented a house right on the pond for a week and we probably cought over 80 largemouth bass, at least 10 smallmouth bass, 3 pikes,40 perch, and we saw over 100 sunfish but we were there for bass. I fished everyday for about 5 hours a day and i cought 50 Largemouth Bass and 6 SMall mouth bass. every night before the sun went down we went out in our boat and cought some bass and when we were heading in we droped some live worms in the deepest part of the pond and reeled in some nice perch. We kept a med. size perch and when we got back i took my baitcasting reel and hooked the perch threw the back and had it sit there overnight and in the morning EVERY SINGLE DAY there was at least a 6 pound bass on each time. On the second to last day, i had a few minutes to throw a couple of casts in from the dock and on my 3rd cast (i was using a 1oz.jig) and i reeled in a monster 11 pound bass. it was like every time u threw a cast you had a fish and these fish fought hard. the best part was seeing from the dock a 5 pound smallmouth bass swim by and my favorite part of the trip was when i was swimming in 2 feet of water just chillin with some goggles i saw an estamated 15 pound bass and i was to shocked to grab my rod. I was talking to a man who has been living on the pond his whole life and he said (he had a pic. to) that he cought a 45lbs.pike but he kept and ate it, he also said he saw a man lose a monster 17 lbs. bass so they are out there.best place for a chance at a record. and tons of 1-4 pond bass to. and my final statement is that all of our fish were released.
