My father and I have fished this lake for 3-4 per summer for the past 5 years. Early trip was in June, we caught over 100 fish, mostly smallmouth bass, with some largemouth, pickerel, white and yellow perch thrown it. Other trips were later in the summer, produced fewer fish, and the numbers have declined over the 5 trips we have taken. It's a big lake and tends to be very windy, especially outside the protection of the many islands. This year we are going in late May, hopefully we will get some numbers again. Catch and release only.
