This is an EXCELLENT place to fish. It is loaded crappie in the 8 to 9 inch range, blue gill, giant sucker fish over 4 pounds, huge shad and giant bass. This week alon I have caught 8 fish over 8 pounds. As the weather warms up I predict the numbers will go up.

If you are only on foot, as we were, you are pretty much limited to fishing from the docks. Be advised that there are plants (seaweed) around all the dock areas, even the dock that sticks out far into the lake. This of course means you can get snagged easily, although we did not lose any tackle as a result. Just means you pull up plants when you reel in. The day we went, there was NO action whatsoever. Tried hot dog chunks, corn kernels, jigs with bobbers, even spinner baits. Not even a nibble. It did not help that there were boats buzzing back and forth, surely spooking any fish nearby.
