punkin seeds and perch could be caught in shadows with live bait only, I used a kayak that a land owner allowed me to borrow, the lake is private and not open to the public, the perch were small and would come off fairly quickly, some of the punkin seeds were a little larger, fishing was slow overall and swimmers were using the whole lake by swimming from one beach to the other
