I have fished Walden many times normally for bass. The pond has both large and small mouth bass. My largest large mouth to date was 6.5lbs. On a resent trip I fished for trout and caught two rainbows they were between 16" to 18" saw many more but they were very wary and would not hit my offering. I always use lures and practice catch and release.
