I fished with bright green gummy worm with a regular spinning reel. No one was catching much on a nice summer evening but I caught two pickerel and a sunfish.

Another productive day. 042909. Fished the same spot mentioned on my last comment. Temp was a bit cooler. Caught 2 bass and 1 pickerel with my No.0 Aglia Hot Chartreuse Mepps Spinner within 2 hours. Spent the rest of the night eating pizza with my wife. (Good Stuff!)Great view and sunset. More people fishing today. Oh, forgot to mention a huge Carp (I believe it was because it was Orangeish in color) went air borne before our eyes. I guess they have them too. After talking with a bunch of regulars in the area, this place supposed to be a HOT trout spot. (Haven't caught one yet...maybe next time). Fish.Zilla live.com Jason

First time fishing at Houghton's Pond.042809 730pm off of the Northwest Corner in front of picnic table. Caught 5 small bass by 845pm One of my all time favorites, Original Rooster Tail 03 (black) very productive all night. Tip: Fish this lure slow enough to make spinner rotate. Be careful of excessive underwater vegetation and tree limbs when hugging the coast with light tackle. Almost lost my rooster a couple times, thank goodness I brought my waders. Feel free to email me at Fish.Zilla Live.com for tips or information on other fishing spots around New England which I've fished. FISH ON Jason
